This is scheduled for the mid-2016 and postponed recently for the end of 2016 mission of Rokot launch vehicle. This time objective is delivering to LEO three small communication satellites (with weight from 230 kg to 280 kg depending on version) manufactured by NPO Prikladnoi Mekhaniki. They are part of the commercial communication system developed and operated by Gonets SatCom, subsidiary of ISS Reshetnev. Satellites are equipped with UHF transponder operating with speed at 2.4 Kbps for uplink and 9.6 Kbps for downlink. Gonets SatCom constellation will be upgraded from twelve (11 Gonets-M and 1 Gonets-D1) to 18 satellites until end of the 2018.
Rokot is liquid fueled with N2O4/UDMH, three stage construction. Its length is 29 m, diameter is 2.5 m and weight is 107000 kg. First stage (with 3 RD-0233 and 1 RD-0234 engines) propulsion thrust is 2080 kN.Second stage incorporates one RD-0235 and one RD-0236 engines with total thrust 255.76 kilonewtons. Third stage is Breeze-KM module with one S5.98M engine with thrust at 19.6 kN.
